«We keep customers with product quality,If the software isn't good, the customer leaves anyway — locks and passwords only make leaving more painful. We chose a different path.
not by locking up their data.»
What exactly does data ownership mean?
The market norm is an encrypted database so customers can't leave. We commit to the opposite:
Your data, truly yours
A complete, standard backup is always at your disposal and you have zero dependency on us; your data stays usable — even without us.
The backup is yours
Scheduled automatic backups + direct download + connection to your own cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, WebDAV).
Cloud backup, in your own account
Backup files are created in your own Google Drive or Dropbox and belong to you; the Nexto app only sees its own backup folder, not the rest of your files — and even without Nexto, your cloud copies stay right where they are.
Leave without our permission
Any day you want to leave, you take the latest full backup and go. No exit fee, no data hostage-taking.
And everyday security
Role-based access
Each user sees only what they're allowed to; sensitive accounts can be hidden.
Complete activity log
Who, what, when — every sign-in and every document is recorded and cannot be erased.
Corrections with an audit trail
No document is ever deleted; corrections post a reversal document so the full history remains.
NDA available
For migration and support we sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA) on request.
Cloud or on your own server — the choice is yours
Cloud plans run on our infrastructure and we maintain everything. If you want it all physically in your own hands too, the lifetime license includes installation on your private server.
Plans & lifetime license →Straight answers to the three eternal questions
“What if your company disappears?” Your data stays with you, unlocked; nothing is lost.
“What can my employee see?” Only what you've defined — down to a single report and a single account.
“How do I know who did what?” The activity log is a real-time record of every action by every user.
