Nexto Cloud Services — Bank, Identity, Receipt and TRON Energy

Learn Nexto's four optional cloud services — bank enquiries, identity enquiries, receipt reading and TRON energy rental — and the prepaid model behind them.

⏱ 2:59 Beginner Version 2026.8 Last updated: August 6, 2026

Everything covered so far, Nexto did by itself. But there are jobs no software can do on its own — telling you who an account number actually belongs to, for instance. For that you have to ask somebody outside, and this is exactly where that happens. These services are optional; Nexto works without them, but each one takes either a manual job or a risk off your shoulders.

What you will learn

  • The four groups of services and what each one is for
  • How the prepaid model works, and why a failed enquiry costs nothing
  • The six types of bank enquiry and when to use each
  • What identity enquiries are for, especially with new customers
  • How the manual receipt reading page works
  • What TRON energy rental does and what its three buttons mean

Step by step

1. Understand the prepaid model

Every successful enquiry comes off your balance, and an enquiry that fails costs you nothing. You top the balance up from your service account, and every month you get a certain amount of free credit as well. Details of the plans are on /pricing.

2. Use bank enquiries before you send money

The bank enquiry has six types: an account number enquiry, which brings back the holder's name and their bank; the card holder's name; card to account number; account to account number; a cheque enquiry; and a bounced cheque enquiry. With each choice the description and the fields on the page change too. The point is simple — before you send the money, you make sure the account the customer gave you really belongs to the person they said.

3. Repeat an enquiry for free

Asking about the same account again is free for you, so if you need it a second time you do not pay twice.

4. Confirm new customers with identity enquiries

The second group comes in four types and they all do the same job: confirming that the details a customer gave you match the official records. This is what you need when you take on a new customer, and when regulation requires you to keep a record.

5. Read a receipt manually

You already know receipt reading from the smart inbox, where it happened automatically; this is its manual page. You give it a photo of a receipt and out comes the amount, the bank, the reference number, the date and the parties. If the photo is an account details screen instead, the account number and its holder come out too.

6. Rent TRON energy for USDT transfers

Sending USDT on the TRON network needs energy; without it, the transaction fee multiplies. The page already recognises your wallet and shows its current state. It has three buttons: Check and rent looks first at whether you are actually short — if you have enough, it tells you and charges nothing. Rent again without checking, for when you are sure you need it. And status only, which costs nothing at all and simply tells you how much energy and how much TRX you have right now. The in-app page help (the ? icon at the top of the page) has more detail.

Tips

  • Always run the bank enquiry before the payment, not after. Its whole value is that it happens while you can still stop.
  • Prefer Check and rent over Rent again — it will not charge you when your wallet already has enough energy.
  • Status only is free, so use it freely to see where your wallet stands before deciding anything.

FAQ

Do I pay for an enquiry that returns nothing?

No. Only a successful enquiry comes off your balance; an enquiry that fails costs you nothing. Repeating an enquiry about the same account is also free.

Are these services required to use Nexto?

No, they are optional and Nexto works without them. Each one simply removes a manual job or a risk — verifying an account holder, matching a customer's details to official records, or reading a receipt for you.

Why would I need TRON energy?

Sending USDT on the TRON network needs energy, and without it the transaction fee multiplies. Renting energy through this page keeps those transfers cheap.

How is this different from the receipt reading in the smart inbox?

It is the same reading engine with a manual front end. In the inbox it happens automatically as messages arrive; on this page you upload a photo yourself and get back the amount, bank, reference number, date and parties.
