Follow the payout chain in Nexto end to end — the deposit request, the assignment to a partner exchange, the automatic payment commitment and the instalments.
This episode isn't about a single form — it follows a chain from end to end. A customer gives you an account to pay into, a partner exchange makes the payment, and you can see every step in between. Once you can name the four links in order, you will never be lost about which screen to look at.

Step by step
Know the four links of the chain
One: the customer gives the account details and you open a deposit request. Two: you assign that request to the partner exchange that will make the payment. Three: a payment commitment is created automatically on their side, with the bank details copied across by themselves. Four: the payment is entered in instalments and the remaining amount falls on its own. This works for any currency — local money, dollars, euros, it makes no difference.
Open the deposit request
First, who is asking: Persepolis Exchange. Then the amount and currency — a hundred and twenty thousand Canadian dollars. Now the account the money is going to: write the account holder's name and their bank, which is all the office making the payment needs. Write the description and register the request.
Don't guess the account holder's name
The bank enquiry service fetches the holder's name straight from the banking system using the account number. Money sent to the wrong account does not come back — which is why one enquiry before paying is always the cheaper option. The enquiry services are covered in Nexto services.
Read the request page
At the top is the summary: who asked, how much, to which account. Below it is where the actual work happens, the assignment section. Notice that up to this point not a single accounting document has been posted — the request is only a record, an intention.
Assign the request to a partner exchange
The question in the assignment section is: which partner exchange will make this payment? The small button next to it also shows you who is in credit in this currency — that is, who it makes sense to have pay. The amount already comes in as the remaining balance, so you can give the whole thing to one office, or change the figure and split it between two. Save the assignment and the second link of the chain is complete.
Look inside the payment commitment
The moment the assignment was saved, a payment commitment was created automatically on the other side. Inside it, the account holder's name and their bank have been copied across from the request by themselves, so the person making the payment doesn't have to ask anything again — the information travels along the chain with you.

Enter the instalments
The office making the payment may not send it all at once. Each payment is entered as an instalment, with its amount and the bank's tracking number. When an instalment is posted, two things happen: a real accounting document is created, and the remaining amount of the commitment falls by that much. When the remainder reaches zero the commitment closes itself — nobody has to close it by hand.
Run the chain backwards with payment readiness
There is also the reverse direction. This time the partner exchange tells you they are holding local currency and can pay your customers, and you record that as payment readiness. Then you do exactly the opposite: you assign your own customers' requests against that readiness. The same chain, running backwards — and the same commitment mechanism kicks in.
Tips
- Back on the request list you can see where each request stands: assigned or not, how much has been paid, whether it is closed. Looking at this list in the morning means seeing every job still waiting on you.
- Keep the order in your head — the request is an intention, the assignment turns it into a commitment, and the instalments create the real documents.
- You don't have to hand a whole request to one office. Change the assigned figure and split it between two, and the remaining balance follows you.
- Always write the bank's tracking number on each instalment; it is what you will search by when someone asks about a payment later. The in-app page help (the ? icon at the top of the page) has more detail.
FAQ
What is the difference between a deposit request and a payment commitment?
The request only records what the customer wants and which account it should go to — an intention, with no accounting document behind it. The commitment is created automatically when you assign that request to a partner exchange, and it says who is responsible for paying how much.
Can one request be split between two partner exchanges?
Yes. The assignment amount comes in as the remaining balance, but you can lower it and assign the rest separately. Each assignment creates its own commitment, and the remaining balance on the request updates accordingly.
When does an actual accounting document get created?
Only when you enter an instalment. Until then the request and the commitment are records of intention, not money movement. Each posted instalment creates a real document and reduces the commitment's remaining amount.
Do I have to close a commitment when it is fully paid?
No. When the remaining amount reaches zero the commitment closes itself. That is also why entering every payment as an instalment matters — the remainder is what keeps the chain's status honest.
