Gold pieces in stock
A list of every gold piece recorded with “Receive gold pieces”: what is in which cash box right now and what was delivered to whom. This page is visible only when “Gold trading” is on in Settings.
Filters
- Cash box: one cash box or “All cash boxes”.
- Status: “In cash box” (default), “Delivered” or “All”.
- Below the column headers there are column filters (type, assay mark or serial, lab or description, weight, fineness, metal, making charge). Filters apply to all records on the server.
- Excel and PDF export give you the same filtered list.
Summary at the top
| Figure | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Metal (18K g) | Total metal of the listed pieces |
| Making charge | Their total making charge |
| Value (metal + charge) | Metal plus making charge; the pieces are worth more than their raw gold |
| Pieces | Number of pieces |
Serial-numbered bars are counted separately, by count, for each bar currency. Coins and currencies received or issued with the “Coin or currency” type are not pieces and do not appear here; their stock is the cash box account balance.
Table columns
Type (for a bar, the bar name), assay mark or bar serial (click to open “Assay mark trace”), lab or worked-gold description, weight, fineness, metal (18K g), making charge, total, cash box, received (document, date and counterparty) and issued (document, date and recipient).
Red mismatch alert
If a cash box’s 18K-gram balance does not match the sum of its pieces, a red alert appears at the top. It means some gold went into or out of the cash box with a plain transfer instead of the piece forms. The same check also shows in the notifications bell (settings alerts). To avoid it, record piece gold coming in and going out only with “Receive gold pieces” and “Issue gold pieces”.
Notes
- Use + Receive piece and Issue piece on this page to open the forms.
