Board Rate

Board Rate

Your exchange's price board: the buy and sell rate for every currency, the default basis for trades and every valuation in the app. Rates are either entered manually or read automatically from an API every few minutes — like the digital board over a shop's door, but wired into the app's brain.

Where This Page Fits

  • Automatic-reading settings (API address/token, buy/sell spread, rounding): Rate Settings.
  • The default rate on the Buy & Sell form comes from this very board.
  • "FX Revaluation" and the valuation of positions and reports are done using this board's rates.

Notes

  • "Update from API" only refreshes currencies whose API option is enabled.
  • If you change a rate manually while automatic reading is on, it gets overwritten on the next cycle.
  • The buy/sell spread and the number of rounding digits are configurable per currency — the rounded number is what's shown everywhere.

Board calibration

The "Board calibration" table (visible to rate managers only) compares the last 30 days of real trades with the board at each moment: Center shows how far above or below the board mid your trades typically close — far from zero means that currency's price coefficient needs adjusting. Real spread is your actual sell-to-buy distance; if it is much smaller than the configured spread, the board spread is optimistic. Highlighted rows mean a meaningful gap. Suggestions are guidance only; apply them from "Board rate settings" at your discretion.
