User Form (Create / Edit)
Create a user account for a colleague: name, username, password, role, and custom permissions if needed.
Step by Step
- Set the name, username (unique), and password.
- Choose the role — its default permissions get checked automatically.
- If needed, manually adjust specific checkboxes (a manual checkbox overrides the role).
Fields

| Name / username | The username is for logging in and must be unique. |
| Password | Leave blank when editing to keep it unchanged. At least 8 characters; a password seen in public data breaches (e.g. 12345678, password) is rejected — the check sends only the first 5 characters of the password's hash to Have I Been Pwned; the password itself never leaves the server. |
| Role | Determines the default set of permissions. |
| Permissions | Finer-grained checkboxes than the role; a manual checkbox overrides the role's default. |
| Active | Turning it off blocks login. |
Notes
- Grant the minimum permissions needed; for example, a cashier only needs "Execute orders" and the necessary views.
The “assigned cash boxes” list appears only when the role is set to Cashier, and it lists only active (non-archived) cash boxes; banks cannot be assigned, and saving with any other role clears the assignments.
- WhatsApp IDs: this user's WhatsApp number or mention ID (the number after @ in group messages), comma-separated. When a group trade message mentions this ID (or comes from this number), the trade form pre-selects this user as the trader.
Smart-assistant access: two separate permissions in the matrix — "Use smart assistant (web)" and "Smart assistant on WhatsApp". For WhatsApp, the user's number must also be listed in this form's "WhatsApp IDs"; the WhatsApp one is off by default for every role.
- The form is full-width: profile fields in a four-column row and permissions in four columns grouped by module (each block is one module), so the whole form fits without scrolling.
