Trades

The archive of all the exchange's buying and selling. Each row is one trade, with type (buy/sell), currency and amount, rate, counterparty, fee, profit, and trader. This page is both for "finding" and for "correcting".

Where This Page Fits

  • Record a new trade: Currency Buy & Sell or Cash Buy & Sell.
  • Clicking the voucher number opens the full voucher page (adjust/cancel from there).
  • Aggregate stats are in P&L, Trader Commission, and Customer Profit.

Working With the List

  • The form above the table only carries a date range and grouping; every other filter (currency, counterparty, type, amount, rate, fee, profit, trader, recorder, voucher search) lives in the filter row under the column headers. Excel/PDF export is built with those same active filters.
  • The "Currency" column is a selector defaulting to "All currencies"; the "Profit" column offers Profitable / Loss-making and the "Fee" column offers Incoming / Outgoing / No fee.
  • Column order follows the traditional ledger style: type, currency, amount, rate, against, opposite amount.

Notes

  • Adjusting a trade doesn't erase the earlier voucher; an "adjusting voucher" is issued so the full trail remains (a reversal).
  • "Changing the trader" doesn't touch the books and is only for the commission report; it's recorded in the activity log.
  • The "Currency" column filter brings up trades where that currency is on either side; the "Against" column filters exactly the counter-side currency of the row.
  • When grouping is on, rows are ordered by the group key first and the column sorting applies inside each group.

Table Filtering and Sorting

  • There is a filter row right under the column headers: in a text column type part of the value, in a numeric column give a "Min" or a range ("100-500" means between the two, "-500" means at most 500), in an option column pick from the list. The filter applies to every record on the server, not just the page you are looking at.
  • Column headers carrying the ⇅ mark sort when you click them: ⇅ neutral, ▲ ascending, ▼ descending.
  • Changing a column filter, the sorting, the page or "per page" happens without reloading the page: only the table body is swapped, so your filters and scroll position stay put. The page address only changes with the filters in the form at the top of the page (date range and grouping).
  • Active filters are kept while you page through the list, and the Excel/PDF export sees exactly the same ones. To clear one, empty the field or leave the "All" option.
  • On mobile the less important columns are folded away; the round + button at the start of each row opens the rest of the information as "label: value".
