Notes
Label your customers so you can look at them by the batch — “Exchange partners”, “Tehran customers”, “VIP”, “Dubai customers”. A group has no financial effect at all; it exists only for tidiness and reporting.
Creating, Renaming, Deleting
- Add: type the group name in the box at the top and press «Add». Duplicate names are rejected.
- Rename: change the name inside the table and press 💾.
- Delete: press 🗑. Deleting a group does not delete any customer — its customers simply become “No group”. No voucher or trade is lost, so there is nothing to worry about.
- The number in the «Customers» column is a link: clicking it opens the customer list filtered to that group.
Assigning Customers — from the Customer List
This page only creates the groups; attaching customers happens in the Customer List, in two ways:
- One at a time: each row has a dropdown in the «Group» column. Pick a group — it is saved instantly, with no save button.
- In bulk: tick several customers, choose a group from the bar above the table, and press «Apply». To ungroup them, choose «No group».
Groups Elsewhere in the App
- The customer list has a Group filter — including a «No group» option.
- Both the customer list and Transactions offer «Grouping: Customer group», which stacks the rows under each group’s heading with its own subtotal.
- The «Group» column also appears in the customer list’s Excel/PDF export.
Notes
- A customer belongs to only one group at a time.
- Creating and deleting groups, and assigning customers, all require the «Manage accounts» permission; other users only see the group name.
- A group is just a label: it affects no balance, no rate, and no permission.
