Account Settlement
When a customer wants to "settle everything up" but their balance is spread across several currencies (say, owing $1,000 and being owed 20 million toman), this page converts all of it at an agreed rate into one "target currency" and closes the account with a single voucher.
Where This Page Fits
- You get to this page from the Statement or the customer list.
- The settlement voucher is recorded in the history like a trade and shows up in the statement.
Step by Step
- Choose the target currency (e.g., toman).
- For each currency with a balance, confirm or adjust the agreed rate (defaults from the board).
- Check the preview and save — every currency balance goes to zero, leaving only the target currency balance.
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Settlement target currency | The currency all balances are converted into. |
| Rate per currency | The agreed conversion rate for each currency with a balance, into the target currency (defaults from the board). |
| Description | Description of the settlement voucher. |
Notes
- After settlement, every currency balance on the account is zero except the target currency's balance (if any).
