Cash Buy & Sell

The "no customer" version of the trade form: someone walks in, hands over cash, and takes currency (or the other way around), and that's it — no account needed, no history. Here, the other side of the trade is one of the exchange's own tills: cash goes into the till or comes out of it.

Where This Page Fits

• See till balances on the Dashboard and General Ledger → Tills.
• These trades also show up in the Trades list, and their profit is included in the P&L report.

Step by Step

It's like the currency buy & sell form; you just choose a Till instead of a customer account — the till whose cash actually moves.

Notes

• Profit on these trades is calculated the same way as the rest.
• In the "Profit by Customer" report, cash trades are counted separately since they have no specific customer.
